MEX Humidification Chamber
Both intubated and non-intubated patients can utilize the MEX humidification chamber, which is compatible with the majority of respiratory humidifier units that are readily accessible on the market.
To use the humidifier, the chamber must be filled with water and set on the base unit. The aluminum foundation of the chamber transfers the heat from the humidifier base unit. Before being given to the patient, the gas from the respiratory care equipment enters the chamber and is humidified. Enough heat transmission from the heated humidifier to the chamber and the gas’s surface area interaction with the water are necessary for the humidification process to be effective.
